A vintage Ukiyo-e image of the witch princess Takiyasha reciting the spell to summon a skeleton specter. The giant skeleton crashes through a wall of the ruined palace of Soma. The specter attempts to rescue a samurai in danger trying to protect his princess from the emperor's official, Mitsukuni. From an original 19th century (1844) woodcut by Utagawa Kuniyoshi.
