Description
Vintage Ukiyo-e portrait of the courtesan Tsukasa of Ogi-ya. Her fashionable and stylish ensemble includes a colorful, elaborately patterned kimono and many large hairpins, combs and other hair ornaments. The courtesan is accompanied by two young attendants. On the wall in the background is a picture of geese descending at Oman Gate. A page of the series, Yoshiwara hakkei (Eight views of Yoshiwara).
